2 What is Information Literacy?

Information literacy skills are essential for success in our academic, personal, and future professional lives.  Development of information literacy and technological competency across disciplines is among the goals of a Bucknell education.

Information literacy is more than knowing how to find a book or how to search a library database.  The chart below shows many ways to think about information literacy.
